Padua-based company EZ Lab is bringing the Digital Product Passport to the world of robotics. With 18,000 units delivered in 2025, the humanoid robot market has seen a 508 per cent increase in shipments.

The world’s first Digital Robot Passport has been launched – a tool capable of identify a ‘humanoid assistant’ quickly, with a single click – for example, in the event of an accident – instantly revealing who it belongs to, its current ‘health’ status and the emergency contacts to call. A tool that is unique in the West and goes even further than the first Asian prototypes. Its name is DRP, Robot Digital Passport, and the first company in the world to develop it is an Italian firm, EZ Lab in Padua.
